  PLATONIC //
Kind and well-natured, Ophelia is friendly, personable and level-headed. She is not one to make enemies easily due to her compassion and good sense of personal principle. Though amiable, her close friends are few and far between, as she's carefully guarded of her inner thoughts and feelings. Introverted, she prefers time by herself, immersing herself in craft or reading (as she is one of few drifters than can read). Her friends are her colony mates, and she adores every single one of them, if for different reasons. High energy and active, Ophelia hardly sits still and muses, and her friends should be ready for hair raising adventures or exploration. She is very uncomfortable with lying and often finds it hard to keep secrets from her friends out of principle.

  ROMANTIC //
Naturally kind, many would think romantic relationships would come easy to Ophelia. That is hardly the case, as she allows few to peer into her inner self. She's never had a romantic interest, not only out of disinterest in physical intimacy (to some extent) but fear. Her romantic partner would, however, find her creative, fun and warm-hearted, with lots of teasing and silly puns. She is demisexual, meaning she finds intimacy and attraction in close, emotional relationships. It be great if she had a broodish partner to offset her sunshine and friendliness, though I could see an equally vibrant partner as also being fun!

  ANTAGONISTIC //
Phe holds animosity for few. Even in the evilest of souls, she can find some good or forgiveness. The only creatures she believes wholly evil are Infected, of who caused the death of her father. Infected are "kill on sight" for Ophelia. Though she does not hate them, she finds annoyance in those that impede her progress and her ability to live freely, or those that don't carry their weight for the colony without good reason. Morally, she also has qualms with the dishonest and cruel.

Quick History
TW: CANNIBALISM

2071

Ophelia is born in a drifter colony. Her mother dies in childbirth, so she's raised completely by her father, who struggled to nourish and raise her without his loved one.

She grew up in a small, close-knit community lived expertly off the land, hunter-gatherer style. The colony survived due to their survival instincts and their guerilla tactics against Infected and other colonies. It took years before Ophelia realized that she lived among bandits who stole for their own good. She still harbors guilt over this.

2083

When Phe was twelve, nearly all the colony was wiped out during a particularly harsh winter. Only her father and she survived by eating the corpses of their neighbors and friends.

2084-2088

Ophelia and her father wandered for several years, her father becoming a mercenary and doing contract work for the Military whilst Ophelia tagged along, learning and growing with him.

2089

Her father is severely wounded by Infected, and in a desperate attempt to save him, Ophelia begs the Stronghold to let her in. They don't, as they do not want to risk her father turning, and kill him on sight.

2089

Distraught, Phe leaves and wanders for years, until she slowly begins to form a group of drifters, a common theme in that they were wronged by the Stronghold. They take on the name "the Outcasts" to signify their position on the edge of society.
