There is much that could be said about Neilos Quiller and much that should be said about him. He's quite the eccentric young man with a tendency to come off as some obsessive weirdo at the best of times. And it all starts with a first impression, because damn what a first impression it is! Nearly everything about him is as pale as night, something done through both make-up and the fact that he has nearly a fully nocturnal schedule when he's allowed to pick when he's awake. And it only gets crazier from there! With a very gothic Victorian bend to his fashion sense and a flare for the dramatics. Plus add in a truly delightful eye for make-up and you've got quite the first impression.

Whiles its true that Neilos is a very eccentric person he's also a very friendly one. He's quick with a smile and happy to chat with anyone and everyone. He listens well and knows not to dominate a conversation with talking. He can be surprisingly normal in these moments, seeming to be just like everyone else. Or at least able to converse just like everyone else. But it would be a mistake to take that at face value. Rather its his way of sorting out who is worth talking to in his mind and who is not. And be wary if you are one of the lucky few he finds value in. At that point? Well he becomes quite the different person.

Those he is close to know of his rather obsessive and sometimes bordering on manic behavior. His energy levels almost always seem off the charts when he's awake until he just hits that point where he crashes hardcore and decides that sleep is a better idea. He's always flitting from one thing to the next, constantly working on projects or reading up on some new hobby or interest he's picked up. But more than that he latches onto people and just won't let them go. He becomes easily obsessed and this makes him extremely clingy and needy. He'll do whatever he has to in order to get their attention and keep it. Including purposefully putting himself in their path one way or another.

And since Neilos's sense of morality is... well somewhat questionable it is perhaps not surprising that he'll go to some great lengths to get attention. I mean he does happily work for the Hearts Gang, after all how do you think he got into the Strip Club business? And the things that go down at The Red Door? Well, not all of them are anywhere near legal. He is happy to have his company used as a front and a place to move whatever needs moving. To him its a fun distraction from the daily routine and a little adventure to be had. Though he will fully admit if any of that disrupts the running of The Red Door he's less then pleased. Because, see, The Red Door is his baby at this point and he's highly protective of it. His workers are all treated damned well but they also know he has a short leash on them, even small mistakes are not acceptable and he strives for perfection at all times. This means his workers must too.

And when things don't measure up to his standards? Well he isn't called an ankle biter for nothing! He's a vicious little thing despite being so short. He'll tear a person down if he has to but often he's a bit more insidious with his revenge. He won't go for the physical but rather the mental or the things they love, slowly stripping them away from the person and taking it all before revealing it was all him. So he's a very vindictive and jealous little thing. Prone to these fits when he feels like he's not getting the attention he deserves or wants. Its the same driving force that makes him go to outlandish ends to get said attention. Perhaps a somewhat narcissistic response to life.

Still, while he might seem to have more negative than positive he is a very loyal and good friend to have. He'll do anything for those he cares about, even being a shield and taking the punishment for them if he has to or feels it is necessary. So if you can get him on your side? Or are unfortunate enough to have done so without desiring it? Well you've got a surprisingly keen and willing ally in anything you do.
