To a stranger, Zara lacks the complex nuances of an independent woman. She keeps things simple with her clients and prefers to maintain an unassuming persona, though in reality she is clever, quick-witted, and always with an ulterior motive to her actions. Self-preservation rules in her world, but she is not above caring for others - namely those she views as in need of protection.
Though, she could hardly be called maternal, for every kindness extended is to be repaid in full. She has a tendency to be selfish when it comes to her desires, and being told 'no' results in the adoption of a rather sour mood. Stubbornness runs strong in the Bennett family, and the only daughter is no exception. She hates to be told what to do or how to do it, but her means of resistance are subterfuge rather than open hostility.
Her fierceness lends itself well to others and Zara takes no issue with commandeering control in order to achieve a shared goal. In fact, she prefers to be the one delegating tasks in a given scenario. She can work well with others, so long as her needs are met, but as someone who highly values her survival in society, she is not above sabotaging others to get her way.
That is not to say she is without her virtues. She cares for the other individuals she works with and strives for their protection and success alongside her own goals. Patience is a well within her and she is always eager to lend an ear to someone in need (though be aware that her gossipy nature means words whispered in the bedroom may be passed on to others). Love for her is abundant and overflowing: she has much to give, and never restricts herself. It's simply a matter of what language she chooses to communicate it in.
