Elliot's life has been as normal as can be for a person born in Stronghold. Born to a military father and a nurse mother, it was his grandparents who took care of him while they both worked. Home-schooling was the way to go, mostly by his mother, though his father took special care of his P.E. classes to make sure he would be accepted to the Military Academy once he hit 16.
Which is exactly what he did - following in his family's footsteps and continuing his education inside military. It wasn't the first time he saw an infected - his father had made sure to grease some hands when he was 13 so he could see some up close in a heavily armored patrol -but it was the first time he actually learned how to kill them.
Being so used to the military life, it wasn't long after he left basic that he got assigned to patrolling the outskirts of the city in the Task Force Branch. By the time he was 23, he was deemed specialized enough to join a nest elimination team - though his task was mostly defensive, since he specialized in machine gun usage and not in bombs. By 28, he was given his Lieutenant rank though he is no longer tasked with Nest Elimination, but rather the regular patrols around the city perimeter and perhaps a little foray a few klicks out.
Now, at 30, he continues to serve the Military to the best of his abilities, thinking that if a single infected were to get past him, it could cost the life of his loved ones.
