APPEARANCE

Tall, leggy and visibly toned. Poised when she walks—back straight, chin up; strong posture. Dresses for comfort and practicality as opposed to fashion. Very minimalist. Hair is almost always wrapped up into a bun, rarely ever down. Grease stains are a common accessory. Chinese dragon tattoo on right arm, which has regrettably faded some over time, withered cherry blossom branches on collarbone.

Oh, and an arm prosthetic, did I mention that? Prone to malfunctioning sometimes after having taken one too many beatings. Good thing she knows how to tinker with it some, huh?

PERSONALITY

Jacqueline is a creature who thrives on order, and the fact that she was conditioned and shaped by the Military plays a big part on who she is now, years after having left Stronghold behind. Though orderly, there is a tendency to question instead of blindly follow, an inquisitiveness that speaks of an intelligence masked behind subtle defiance should something not align with her own set of morals and ideals.

A follower more than a leader, but hardly a pushover, she’s content to play a supportive role instead of wield absolute power although she’s plenty capable of it. Calm when faced with pressure to the point of detachment and strategic in thought, she pushes sentiment aside in favor of logic, but there is no denying the bleeding heart that beats within—her tether to humanity and greatest downfall.

Due to her upbringing, the woman naturally leans toward the formal and professional even when the interactions concern those closer to her. It’s rare to witness her loosen up completely, but that is to be expected when one was in the Military for so long.

Quick History
Having a father who’s Captain of the Military Task Force sure puts a lot of pressure on you growing up. It is even worse when said father dies in the midst of a failed operation. So you take it upon yourself to live up to his name, his expectations. You do well, learn quick and before you know it, you’re Lieutenant of the Task Force, and four years later, Captain—just like your father was before you.

But something changes in the coming months, and where the Military had been a home, a source of stability and structure, it morphs into a prison.

Deserter.
