Earth is, for want of a better word, a sweetheart. He is kind to a fault, cares perhaps too deeply for others. And trusts everyone he's ever met. He was sheltered by his parents, neither thought to warn their only child about the dangerous of the world around him, because they didn't for a second think he'd ever leave the safety their home or stronghold. When he married and had children, it was their plan that he and his wife would live in their massive home within the city.
Earth had always just... accepted this as his future because it was the only one ever presented too him. He asked his mom once, why he didn't feel... anything for girls she would bring over to the house, in hopes he'd make a 'good' connection. He asked why the boy he saw down in the business district made his stomach feel funny. His mom just giggled and waved it off. Told him boys and girls belonged together, and he'd soon forget all about that boy when he met the right woman.
At twenty two, he had yet to feel even a little attracted to a girl. His mother was growing impatient and his father had started calling him names when he thought he wasn't around, they were not nice names, Earth was sheltered but he knew 'faggot' was not a good thing to be called. His father started demanding that his mother give him another son... his mother was too old she said. Earth felt less and less welcome in his home. A dark cloud hung over the otherwise carefree and cheerful man. He just wasn't sure what to do about any of it.
