Although it's had many names over the years, the now aptly named Grand Hotel is a massive building built over a hundred years ago. Designed with beautiful, ancient architecture both inside and out, the hotel stands just outside Stronghold's massive walls, built along one of the highways leaving the city. Affairs, murders, and even drug circles: the hotel has seen it all. Although it was once abandoned, it is now taken over by drifters. Many say the hotel is haunted by former visitors that never made it out alive.

Rossdale Port
Rossdale Port was once the largest commercial harbor near Stronghold. All cargo that came in from the sea came directly to this port. Because of that, all of the abandoned warehouses on the port now contain dozens and dozens of unopened shipping containers, filled with cargo that never got unloaded after the outbreak took over the port. The Military regularly patrols the warehouses to ensure the supplies aren't raided by drifters or Eclipse. The ships that still sit at the port, while dilapidated, can provide good shelter.

Electrical Facility
A massive electrical facility sits just outside Stronghold's massive walls, a stark reminder of what was once used to power the entire city. Eventually the facility used to create power for Stronghold was moved inside the walls where it would be safer, leaving the old facility abandoned. The Military mostly leaves the facility abandoned, only going so far as to make sure no Infected can take it over as a nest. The interior of the facility is dirty, most of the small rooms filled with broken electronics, but it makes for good emergency shelter.

Old Rail Yard
An old rail yard now left abandoned is a stark reminder of transportation of the past. Now long after the outbreak, trains stopped running completely, and the rail yard was left abandoned ever since. Old, rusted train cars still sit in the yard, the rails themselves rusted and broken apart by new growth. Several larger buildings surround the rail yard, most with sunken roofs and shattered windows. Some people still believe there are trains that haven't been fully looted yet, but the Military presence here keeps most drifters at bay.
