To put it simply — Brock is not a good dude. Born in the Inner Citadel and raised into a family of wealth and power, he had everything at his finger tips from the moment he was born. Yet somewhere along the way things seemed to get twisted for the man. Growing up, he was raised to be heir to his family's fortune through their company — O'King Firearms. Since before the virus outbreak, over eight decades earlier, they were responsible for creating top of the line firearms for Military personnel. This meant that even to this day, the O'Kings have heavy influence in the Military, with ties that run deep. Brock inherited these ties once his parents passed away and he inherited the company, granting him a secure future in the Inner Citadel. But the man's heart bleeds black, and over the years, a corruption settled inside him that led him to double cross the Military and sell high grade firearms to their very enemies — the Jabberwockies.

From an exterior point of view, Brock is a very typical, rich corporate bastard. He has power and influence over Stronghold and he isn't afraid to show it, displaying his immense wealth through extravagant parties — often hosted for the Military's delight. He is cocky and arrogant, and does business dealings through strong-arming negotiations. The Military appears to be the only faction that has earned Brock's unwavering loyalty and respect, seeing as how his company survives only because of its ties to the faction in power. Many who have met Brock can accurately describe him as a man that easily makes enemies — and seemingly enjoys doing so. He is a brute of a man, in both personality and physique, and surrounds himself with men and women of equal power and wealth. Brock on more than one occasion has described himself as a king — a lion, watching over his domain. It ruffles feathers and feeds his ego.

Hidden behind an egomaniacal CEO mask, Brock dabbles in darker delights to entertain himself. It didn't take long after inheriting his family's company before he started getting high off the notion of backstabbing those that helped him rise to power. In the books, O'King Firearms supplies weapons to the Military and no one else — behind the scenes, Brock is known for selling their high grade weapons to the Jabberwockies as well. The gang doesn't matter, so long as they have the money to buy the goods. Hell he'd even sell to Eclipse if he cared to venture outside the walls. Whatever makes him more money — as money equals power in the current state of the world — he's content with. He has friends on both sides of the law, even if the Military doesn't know the darkness of his heart. It makes him feel safe, knowing he can curry favour with those that can provide protection should he need it. He very much is a double edged sword.

No matter how much of a brute Brock comes off as, at the end of the day he's still human — there isn't a wall of ice completely shutting him off from his emotions. When alone, or with those closest to him, he reveals a much different persona. His true self seems to shine through, the one that may have taken over if his parents hadn't pushed him from such a young age. He can be warm and gentle to those that earn his affection, and creativity blossoms in his heart — his passions have especially been expressed through cooking, which he uses as a way of showing his love for others. Oddly enough Brock also enjoys family, and especially children. While he looks upon the idea of fatherhood with fondness, being a gay man in a world where reproduction was frowned upon to begin with means his dreams will probably never come true. For the better, perhaps?
Quick History
Life before Becoming CEO     Age 0 — 22
Brock was born into a wealthy family, and from a young age he was given anything and everything that he could ever want. He readily made friends with children of other wealthy families, as well as those from Military families, and easily took to his parents raising him as the next heir to their fortune. He was bright and intelligent as he grew older, and quickly caught on to all the intricate details of running his family's company in the future. Through his parents, Brock quickly made connections with higher ups in the Military — those that were truly responsible for keeping him with a stable future.

But things didn't stay bright and sunny for Brock forever. The older he got, the more his position in society got to his head. He became entitled and brash, quick to anger and set others straight should he believe they were trying to cross him in any way. Whereas most parents would see this as a red flag and be quick to correct his behaviour, his parents reacted opposite — they encouraged him to put those 'lesser than' in their place. O'Kings were on top of the world, and they shouldn't be afraid to use their influence as they seek fit.

His attitude quickly lost Brock a lot of his childhood friends, but he didn't see it as an issue. Where some left, others were quick to replace him — those that could use ties with him to further themselves in society. Brock was nothing more than amused by such people, and allowed them to cling to his family's name as long as they were useful to him. At some point there came a time when Brock's future was put into question — whether he really would follow in his parents' footsteps, or whether he would join the Military and uphold their values through physically working for them.

His decision was made for him when, at only 22 years old, he lost both of his parents in a freak factory accident. It was no one's fault — even if Brock made sure that the workers on duty at the time paid for their failure to save his parents. After their untimely death, Brock was quick to step in as CEO to the company. He already had ties with the Military at that point, who ensured his quick succession to the company that directly benefited the Military.
Life after Becoming CEO     Age 22+
It wasn't until after Brock had settled in nicely to the position his parents previously sat that he started to explore more of the world, and what Stronghold had to offer. Before that, he had been content to focus his attention on the people in the Inner Citadel — people that helped make him strong through their loyalty to him. But outside the inner walls, Brock found an entirely new world: a world he was quick to fall in love with. The underground criminal activities called to him, specifically the Jabberwockies' various gangs.

It's uncertain what made Brock first reach out to them, but the thrill of having relationships with people from both sides of the law gave him a high he'd never experienced before. At first his interactions with the Jabberwockies was innocent enough, but it didn't take long until Brock was offering them the same deal he gave the Military: pay me what my goods are worth, and you can have top of the line firearms.

His ties to the Jabberwockies was established over years of trust, but once it was solidified, Brock grew in power with the sway he held over both of the warring factions. While he wouldn't be stupid enough to directly pit them against one another, he enjoys watching from the sidelines — the chaos that ensues because of his choices to have a hand in both cookie jars. During the day, Brock acts as CEO to O'King Firearms, but at night he spends much of his time loitering around Jabberwockies territory, indulging in a nightlife that isn't as active or interesting in the Inner Citadel.

Recently, Brock was offered up a gift from the Spades Gang as a sort of 'thank you' for providing them with weapons that could easily match the Military in firepower. A Level V Infected, deemed an ill fit for the fighting ring. While the thought of sentient Infected had never been on the man's radar before, he couldn't exactly pass up such a delightful prize — one that would no doubt make him the star of the show amongst the rich socialites.
Extra Information
Marksman     Expert
Considering the man's entire occupation revolves around firearm creation, it's no surprise that Brock is an expert marksman. He's often responsible for testing out new prototypes himself, from close range weapons, to long range weapons and explosives. Brock is good with a gun, and he's not afraid to use one. Which is why he often carries around concealed weapons with him — allowed by the Military, of course.
Cooking     Self-Taught
When alone, Brock is allowed to express his inner creativity, and he often does it through cooking. Mostly self-taught, seeing as how his parents were more concerned with him learning useful skills, Brock loves to experiment with new types of food and flavour. It's his way of showing love for others as well: if the man decides to cook for you, no matter how small, then you know you're on his good side.
