This poor soul received what was supposed to be the job of a lifetime after being handpicked by Bella’s father to guard her after her little incident. He was the perfect soldier having served his time outside the stronghold walls with valor making him stand out to the General. The ulterior motive behind choosing him specifically to guard Bella was that the two would eventually fall in love, get married, and start a family but those plans fell apart horribly. Bella and this guard are like fire and gas, they clash in every way imaginable, to the point that Bella talks to him like he is one of her dogs when she is in a particularly irritating mood. They both have very dominant personalities, and it shines through in the tension between them. He is loyal, brave, and tries his best to stay on the righteous path laid out for them by the government while Bella is just dragging him right along to Hell with her. He has been her reluctant guard for nearly ten years now, he is aware of Bella’s involvement with the Diamonds but thanks to some sort of blackmail she has on him she now has a death grip on his nuts that prevents him from leaving or letting her involvement slip. He takes a lot of shit from her, but he also isn’t afraid to dish it right back out to her, rarely does he backdown when it comes to her and her attitude.
