It was October, and how the month had flown by so quickly, Affy could not really say. Her sons were growing so much that she barely recognized them. She was not sure she liked it. She was not sure she liked how much that they looked like their father, or the fact that they did some of the things that he did as well. It wasn’t anything too large or frustrating. It just worked her nerves a bit.
Something abut this time of year always made her think of Chris. She tried not to, fought against it really, but even when she walked through the Communal hall she couldn’t help but wonder if he would have fit in here. The glasses she had delivered were none of her business, nor was the amount of alcohol that people drank or didn’t drink. She was better off not knowing. It was better than she didn’t want to know.
It was something that had done well for her over the years, she had learned her place and she stuck to it. Flipping her long blonde ponytail over her shoulder she pulled her tight jeans up and stopped just as she heard her name called. ”Hm?”
