Perhaps the last person on Earth actually trained in archaeology and historical research. Clarion hates to acknowledge he's older than all these crazy kids that have swarmed around him for guidance, for wisdom, and for whatever else. But here he is, dispensing it all over some neat gin. Uncle Clarion was a family friend and business partner of the Gatliefs. He took a shine to the lonely and wild-hearted Lucas when he was young and helped keep him out of too much trouble. Not that anyone could have or can control Lucas. But he does his best to keep this little family safe. He never got the chance to build his own... And now, he's finally doing something he loves! Old age can be freeing, too.

20s + Jennifer Lawrence + best friend

They found each other over a night of hard drinking, and then they tumbled into bed, half known and fully naked. After they sobered up, they agreed to be friends, but the tumbles into bed have continued to happen, albeit infrequently. Silver is an assumed name for this ex-drifter. Lucas adopted her and then there came the rest of the squad. How could she resist? She now uses her fowl language, tough love, and "historical pilfering" know-how to help the little fools in their mad quest to recover history. She doesn't believe in it, but god damn, she indulges them.

20s + Iñaki Luluaga + The Lover

This is the one that truly "stuck" and hasn't gotten fed up with Lucas' antics. The way the boy looks at him, through those love-sick eyes, you'd think he worshiped the ground he walked on. And he kinda does. It's no mystery that he'd prefer they were more serious and committed in their relationship, but that would entail pinning Lucas down into a conversation he does NOT want to have. Usually the one to talk sense into Lucas (with back up from Silver).

20s + Eugene Bauder + The Other Lover

An ex-hustler who hasn't quite left the trade, but at least isn't in so much hot demand. Nobody knows this, however. He says he was "a bartender" and refuses to talk about it. Less Lucas' lover and more like he's the GROUP's lover. Nobody has to pick, he decides who he likes that week or that month... or that day. That said, he's also the most likely to go along with Lucas' hair-brained ideas that all too-often have resulted in near death. Reckless doesn't even begin to cover it.

30s + Indya Moore + Badass Artist

How did an artist get tangled up with the squad? She was looking for inspiration... and also funding. Lucas provided both, for a time, until she set up her own studio from an old warehouse. Now that's technically the group's HQ and where they inevitable end up storing most of the "artifacts" they discover, before they're sold off as curios. Is she sleeping with anyone? Not important. Art matters more.

20s + Stevo Trann + security muscle

For whatever reason, this one was kicked out of the military occupation of Stronghold and invisibly seeped into its seedy cracks. Then, one day, Clarion picked him up and got him talking to Lucas, and thus a friendship was born. An arms and combat expert, he seems to have a dark past and a bad temper. So what? The group needed a security expert to arrange their visits outside of the Walls. Here you go. Takes no bullshit from the rest of the group, but is also fiercly competent.
