Eden Prime

In the skeleton of an abandoned Military compound, Eden Prime has staked their claim on the ruins and erected their own little version of paradise lead by the Crane brothers. While far from the luxury and comforts of the Inner Citadel, Eden Prime has garnered a strong reputation of being adept hunters and trappers. In the past, they were once the site of an unofficial market and trading post, but as Ezra Crane descends further into his own fantasy of utopia, he's subjected Eden Prime's residents into isolation. On the contrary, Eden Prime is not a dictatorship, and each resident is there by their own choosing. The question is for how long will this hold true?

Below are some wanteds, but any and all are invited to make OCs for this colony! I envision the colony is anywhere from 10-50 people.

»Ezra Crane

Ezra Crane is the de facto ruler of Eden Prime. He, along with his younger brother Brooks and Patient Zeroes Abel and Cain, ousted the previous inhabitants of Eden Prime (on the premise that they were "evil") and established a home base of operations. Ezra is the more approachable of the Crane Brothers- he's charming, personable and well-knowledged. Not only is he a skilled marksman, trapper and Infected-fighter but he's spun a large web of networks between drifters, even across post-apocalyptic North America, and handled much of the out-of-colony relations. He is religious, as was his parents and their parents before that, and it is through good purpose that Ezra believes he can build a democratic, new world sanctuary. However, he has grown lost in his own delusion, and not only has become withdrawn but autocratic in his rule, instilling curfews and restricting outside contact (much to the disapproval of Brooks and Danila). It is up to the player on whether this "madness" is intentional or if it is a salvageable self-delusion.

»Brooks Crane

RESERVED BY ANDROMEDA

Ezra's younger brother, as well as the other de facto leader of Eden Prime, Brooks is far less amiable than his more well-known brother. Still, this does not sour his spirit, nor sully his confidence, and he approaches every situation with tenacity, caution and ferocity. He's a gifted marksman and raider and oversees the security and weapon stock of Eden Prime. Yet, he does not lack a heart, and his concern for his brother's wellbeing, and that of the colony, overshadows all, especially as Ezra's mentality spirals.

»Abel

Found naked, confused and caked in dried blood, Abel and Cain were "saved" and named by Ezra (and, reluctantly, Brooks). It did not take long for the Crane Brothers to deduce that they were monsters (in a near death experience for Ezra), but instead of spurn them away, they used their enhanced strength and speed to their advantage. With Cain and Abel's help, the four were able to take over the defensively prized abandoned Military compound and grow a colony from it. Abel is the more dependent of the two. She sees Ezra and Brooks as saviors and has become emotionally dependent on Ezra. Her own abilities and bloodlust scare her, a crazed hunger which Ezra is able to calm. As the Eden Prime leader drifts further from reason, and begins to utilize Abel and Cain's powers for questionable means, Abel faces the moral struggle of breaking her dependency on who she sees as a mentor (and, perhaps, a father figure) and growing into his newfound powers as memories of her past life come rushing back to her. She and Cain have an "un"breakable bond.

»Cain

Saved by the Crane Brothers four years ago, the emotionally distraught and physically tattered Abel and Cain quickly became close to the intelligent and persuasive survivors. Four years of shared experiences later, they work together with the Crane Brothers to grow and maintain Eden Prime and shape it into the "sanctuary" that Ezra envisions. Cain is the more withdrawn and cautious of the two, and his trust was harder to win, a trust that is put into question as Ezra's purpose becomes foggy. He is trying to persuade Abel to leave the colony with him and live free of autocracy veiled by sanctuary, yet these efforts are being challenged by Ezra, whom he shares a complex relationship with.

»Danila Kryvonos

Danila Kryvonos was the son of a mercenary and followed his father's footsteps. He found himself in service to a small, brutal and cannibalistic bandit group that inhabited the abandoned Military outpost. However, faced with defeat, Danila defected to work with the Crane Brothers and their vicious "pets" (as Danila secretly puts it). He's become a trusted advisor for the Brothers and has taken up an informal right-hand man position, delegating their orders to the rest of the colonists. He's a self-serving man and this agenda has always been transparent, but his gunmanship and survival instincts make him invaluable.
