The only thing he finds distasteful about his current situation, is the indignity of his 'lost years'. Which is how Zachary refers to the years after he was first infected and lost control of his mind. And while he, mercifully cannot remember those times, when he was nothing but a common, feral, infected, he has eyes, and intelligence, he can see what the infected are like now a days and put two and two together. It disgusts him, the idea of himself in that state. No dignity, no refinement, no class... He shivers just thinking about it. No, he is far happier now he has his own mind back. And he does not loath his strength, his blood lust, his power. Quite the opposite in fact. It is not lost on him either, that he'd already be dead if he were still completely human.
