Adria was a Colombian women who grew up in the midst of drug cartel violence. From a poor family with extended relatives involved in the cartel, she wanted more for her single mother and five siblings. This desire to pull her family from the slums got her involved in crime, such as robbery and sex work. With grit and determination, she was able to establish herself as successful drug lord before the epidemic occurred. It seemed instinct that she'd find herself involved with the Spades, and with that same cunning, became one of Atlas' most trusted advisors.

»Vince Wu

Vince Wu started off as a prolifically successful Spades street-fighter turned businessman. He entered the gang along with his brother to aid the dying Chinese Community of the Slums, yet was the only one of the live out of the two. He is the unofficial charge of organizing fights and spreading their publicity. His loyalty is to money and the art of hand-to-hand combat. He is an avid smoker.

Wednesday is one of the many "drug bunnies" of the Spades. That is, attractive young men and women who's job it is to get people hooked on the plethora of drugs at hand. They are trained in the same way as the Heart's sex workers, to charm and pleasure, only their offered product is drugs and not bodies. They are chosen young, poor and vulnerable and are commonly addicted, or forced to become addicted, to their own supply. Wednesday is one of these unfortunate souls, an example of a downtrodden and hopeless young woman.

»Hatchet von Nees

Why is it that the Spades have such a monopolistic hold on the drug trade? Part of it is to do with Hatchet von Nees, who specializes in not only surveillance and the planning of drug routes but of sabotage. He learns of other independent drug dealers in the area and reports back to Atlas so that the Ace may deal with them "quickly". He and his underlings are also the ones to spy on other Jabberwocky and Military activities and to ensure that they do not interfere with Spade activities. Hatchet is, like many other Spades, hooked on drugs (the specific kind can be up to the player) and this is part of the reason he continues to serve the gang loyally. He is not a very stable, or sane, man and often enacts his own twisted form of justice without Atlas' explicit permission.

»Damascus Devries

Damascus Devries is the Infected "handler", the one to quarter and herd Infected to the designated "show", and back. He likes to call himself the Infected expert, claiming he knows them like a kennel master knows his dogs. There is a sadistic side to him, as he reserves no niceties in how he treats his Infected. This harkens back to his days running dog fights for Inner Citadel aristocrats. This may cause tension with "conscious" Infected (Patient Zeroes) that are utilzied for the purpose of these horrific shows.

»Elias Montgomery

Dr. Elias Montgomery was once a renowned Cypher researcher and chemist, having led several breakthrough projects. However, he was fired from Cypher and tried by the Military after it was found that he had sold Cypher secrets to outside sources. Before his trial date, however, Dr. Elias disappeared. Many believe that the Military simply executed him, yet it was Atlas that freed him and offered him a lucrative position as a criminal. Dr. Montgomery now heads the Spades' drug labs in synthesizing known drugs, primarily Infected venom, and experimenting with new ones under the alias "the Professor".
