A bleeding heart with a few too many holes to plug, Asher is a doctor who abandoned a cushy life in the Inner Cathedral to work at a clinic in the slums to help the poor. When he’s not setting broken arms and prescribing antibiotics for infections that may never fully clear up, he’s usually busy trying to build a garden in his attic apartment, because flowers are the only pop of color in an otherwise jaded life.
