Deacon was born before the outbreak happened, to a traditional Chinese family in Mainland China. After falling into a life of crime and more taboo hobbies, his parents relocated him to the United States, hoping he'd live a better life there. Instead, he was eventually arrested for cannibalism, and it was while he was on death row that he was turned into an Infected. Being the black sheep of the family, he was never really close with any of his relatives, and his existence eventually "faded" from their family tree. Little does he know, one of his siblings also eventually moved to the United States, and one of their descendants now lives in Stronghold.

Deacon's Descendant lives a miserable life in Stronghold. Their family was not rich when the outbreak occurred, and as Stronghold eventually became the only inhabitable place left, they were left forging a life in the slums. Their family never got out of the slums, which is where Deacon's Descendant was born. Poor, and with a lack of education, they eventually wound up working as a sex worker for money. It wasn't long until they were snatched up by the Hearts Gang, forced to work for them for both money as well as keeping their family "protected" — aka, the gang has threatened to harm their family should they try to walk away.

PERSONALITY

Their personality will be mostly left up to you, however it's probably safe to assume they have a meek and more naive personality — someone that the gang found easy to manipulate and control. They'll also be someone that fears Deacon, and what he represents to the sex workers of the gang (more about that below). However, it would also be nice if they were also optimistic, someone that still believes one day they can make a better living for themselves in Stronghold.

DIRECTION

I think there will be room for lots of fun plotting opportunity between Deacon and his Descendant. Deacon is the Hearts Gang's butcher and chop shop doc — the person that is responsible not only for organ harvesting, but also butchering humans to sell their meat on the black market. He is most known amongst the gang's brothels, as once a month he will visit each brothel to figure out who the lowest earner is — and take them away, to put them to "better use".

Known as The Butcher amongst sex workers, he's something to be feared, and his visitation is never anything good. Deacon's Descendant is a sex worker, and therefore is also very fearful of his presence. I'm thinking it could be interesting if Deacon knew that they were related, but his Descendant does not, leaving him with a sort of fascination of his Descendant. While he's anything but empathetic, there's still a sort of kinship he'll feel towards family, even if it's not outwardly visible. This perhaps makes things even more tense between the two of them, as he's also known as a cannibal, and having a cannibal interested in you is...

Not a good feeling.

This plot has the opportunity for some dramatic tension between the two of them, as it puts them in a sort of predator vs prey relationship, one that would test just how far Deacon would actually go for family. It could have some fun twists, especially if the Descendant were to ever figure out that they were related to Deacon.

As a side note, Deacon is going to have some fun rivalry with Jinx's character, Ryatt, which I'm sure the Descendant can have some fun plotting opportunities with as well.
