Zander always liked when someone new joined the gang — the biggest reason being, of course, that it meant he was no longer the newbie on the block. Granted he still didn't have too much of a hand in the gang itself, choosing to remain on the outside in order to get easy money without getting his hands too dirty. But news always traveled fast in the gang, especially when it was juicy gossip.
Zander liked gossip. He couldn't help it. Apparently the most recent person to join the gang was someone rather infamous — or at least, came from an infamous family. Some high ranking Military officer's son, or something like that. The gangster didn't do well with too many details. Still, it was rather interesting that someone that came from a family like that was now part of the Jabberwockies — again, he didn't listen to details very well, or else he would have heard exactly why this 'Colton' person was now in the gang. Regardless, the first free day Zander had, he made it his mission to scout out exactly where he could find the newbie.
Curiosity killed the cat, after all.
It didn't take long for him to learn Colton apparently worked at the fighting arena located at their main headquarters. Truth be told, Zander had never actually gone to the headquarters' fighting arena before. He usually did his pick ups in some dark alley, and his deliveries in an equally dark alley. He never had a reason before to go, and the one time he had come around the area, he had met some high rank chick in the gang for a brief moment before leaving again. He was thankful, then, that he recognized at least a few faces hidden in the dark of the arena, and was able to ask for directions to get to the back rooms.
There, he met Cotlon. Or, more like, is pointed in the direction of a young looking man that's currently trying to feed one of the Infected. A wicked grin slides into place on Zander's face as he sneaks up behind Colton, taking exaggerated steps as though a spy as he slinks up. Only when he's close enough to reach out and and grab Colton's shoulder, does he finally announce his presence with:
