Remus liked the Inner Citadel. It was clean, and pristine, and it had the scent of fresh air that you couldn't find elsewhere in Stronghold. He liked being amongst others of his class — people that knew how to dress and accessorize. It's why he spent most of his time in his place of birth, content to live amongst the rich folk and look down upon those that were much less fortunate. After all, it wasn't like they would be making their way inside the Inner Citadel anytime soon, to spend what little money they have on slots and blackjack. Therefore: they were useless to him.

Yet... Sometimes, Remus simply couldn't find anything entertaining to do in the rich district. Ironic, considering they had the most free time on their hands to partake in the entertainment the Military had lined up for them. But sometimes that entertainment was just a little too perfect — the clubs simply too pristine, no excitement or adventure. It was times like this that Remus finally admitted to himself he needed a little something more in his life, and decided to dip his toes in the shallow end of the pool for a bit.

Which is how the extravagant man found himself in a higher-end club in the commercial district's Night Forum. "Higher end", even if it would never match up to the clubs found in the Inner Citadel. No matter. The bartenders seemed to be insistent on keeping his wine glass full, and that was all that Remus needed to be happy. A simple man, no?

"Oi, I have something I think you'll like. Well— more like someone you'll like," the man next to Remus slurs with a grin, looking behind the two of them to wave someone over. Remus had already made himself a couple of friends in the short amount of time he'd been in the club — well, as much as the Diamonds Queen could make friends. More like acquaintances with obvious benefits. It makes Remus grin.

"I love surprises!" Remus exclaims with a laugh, closing his eyes and making a big production over waiting to see who his 'friend' was waving over. "I do hope you have good taste," Remus laughs, just a small hint of a threat in his laughter that wouldn't be noticed by many. While he was currently playing along with the joke, he wouldn't be very impressed if it turned out to be some kind of poor joke meant to pull the wool over the newbie's eyes. It only took a second for the good-natured man to turn evil, and he didn't want that. Not on his very rare adventure to the poorer districts of Stronghold!

The evening was going slower than Levi preferred. Slow, in that he had spent more time in the laps of drunk men, listening to their problems than he did doing anything fun. He was paid all the same, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t bored. As it was, Levi was dangerous when he was bored. Dangerous to valuables, as it were. He had managed to take a number of small things throughout the course of the night, though lacking a proper place to hide all of them, merely placed what he could hide in the pockets of others, waiting for the drama to unfold.

He supposed he should have been working more to attract the attention of the many patrons present, but he was more interested in entertaining himself. Besides, he had already pulled in more than enough to satisfy his quota— Who knew listening to the problems of drunkards would be so profitable? The more they vented, the more they paid and that suited him just fine. He would suffer boredom for profit any day. Anything to keep him from being utilized by the Hearts Gang in a way that would be fatal for him. He might have enjoyed danger for the thrill but death was not conducive to those goals.

There was a part of him that craved more than being someone’s therapist. A club was meant to be exciting, after all. Nearly as soon as the thought had crossed his mind, he noticed amen from before waving him over. Oh? Duty called again, it seemed, though he was far more enthused about crossing the room when he noticed a man decorated with jewelry that certainly caught his attention. Someone new then? Someone with things Levi liked. Internally, Levi smiled to himself. This was going to be delightful. Levi strode over to where he was beckoned, sure that the sensual sway of his hips was pronounced. He had no issue drawing eyes to him — it was part of his trade after all and why he had worn such a revealing mesh shirt and tight, short shorts — though there was one in particular he wanted to entice.

When he finally reached them, Levi lowered his gaze ever so slightly. Patrons of this place always did seem to enjoy a demure whore. The other men around the one who had caught his attention had, so, he presumed the same could be said for this gentleman, whom he greeted with an enchanting smile. “Good evening again, gentlemen,” he purred, winking at the one who seemed the most drunk. “How may I be of service?” As he spoke, he made sure to subtly present himself to the newest face of the bunch, hoping that he would get the chance to…relieve him of some of that lovely jewelry.
